Happy Success

We love success stories, and that’s why we do what we do. Below are some case studies, or Happy Success stories, that some Happy Medium clients have experienced:

Ramsey Mazda

RamseyMazda_Web2.jpg

Overview:

Located in Urbandale and serving the greater Des Moines and central Iowa area since 1946, Ramsey Mazda is Iowa’s largest Mazda dealership.

Client Problem:

In early 2012, Ramsey Mazda’s website underwent a renovation and URL address change. This significantly impacted both their pagerank and other SEO related factors. Most importantly, however, traffic counts to the new website were low and bounce rate was high.

The Happy Success:

Before Happy Medium began a paid search campaign for Ramsey Mazda in March using Google AdWords, they were averaging 631 visits to the site during that first month.

In six months, the monthly visitor count to the site has quadrupled and continues to rise. This is largely attributed to visits stemming from Google AdWords and online display advertisements. In addition to an AdWords campaign, we also began running display/banner online advertising for Ramsey Mazda in July. We’re thrilled with how this campaign is progressing and can’t wait to see where next month takes our clients.

NewGov

NewGov Logo

Overview:

NewGov is a non-partisan, policy-focused social tool for everyday people to use to communicate with their elected officials.

Client Problem:

NewGov began with two people and an idea. Having spent their lives in private business, Britt Blaser and Tim Gholson saw a need for a better way for people to communicate with their politicians. After years of development, NewGov was launched in time for the 2012 Iowa Caucuses. The problem: No one had heard of them.

The Happy Success:

Happy Medium began working with NewGov and first and foremost started them on social and digital media. By exposing people to their name, NewGov began generating conversation online revolving around policy changes that could be undertaken to affect change within governments. Within six months of its inception, NewGov’s Facebook page garnered 10,000 “Likes.”

Bolt Construction

Bolt Construction

Overview:

Bolt Construction began as Lester’s Contracting in 1993. In 2011, the company was bought by Jeff Claman and the name was changed to Bolt Construction, Inc. Bolt Construction offers professional service and the dedication to quality that will show in any residential or commercial exterior project.

Client Problem:

In 2012, after undergoing a name change, Bolt Construction established a new website. This combination of developments posed a problem as people were not familiar with the new name and the new website was receiving little traffic.

The Happy Success:

Happy Medium first and foremost decided that Bolt Construction needed a strong SEO solution. By utilizing our SEO application and spending time on the back-end of the website, we identified areas that needed attention and fixed problems that were hindering page rank. However, the website was new and that in and of itself poses problems in search visibility. Happy Medium began a Google AdWords campaign and traffic to the website has risen dramatically over the past few months, from averaging 50 visits for the month of March to averaging over 100 hits during the first two weeks of June. Adding to this success was www.boltconstructioninc.com’s dramatic rise in URL Domain Authority from 1 to 13 in less than a month. URL Domain Authority is a metric that Happy Medium’s SEO application uses to rank websites based on traffic and page rank.
